Hello,

How can I configure ethereal in order to decode standard protocols on
non-standard port numbers ?
E.g., if I have LDAP traffic on port 10389 (instead of the standard port 389),
ethereal doesn´t know how to interpret the protocol. If I change the
/etc/services file accordingly (mapping of port 10389 to LDAP), ethereal
displays the name LDAP in the packet overview, but doesn´t decode the packets
accordingly. The content of the TCP packet is still displayed as raw data.
Can this problem be solved by configuration ?

Thanks
