Hello,
I'm trying to install ethereal 0.8.14 on my system running RedHat Linux 7.1. I've installed all necessary packages and I am still being told that ethereal requires libsnmp.so.0.  Seeing that package is included in ucd-snmp and my version of the package is 0.4.2 I decided to look up the name of the libsnmp package.  In my version of the RPM libsnmp is called libsnmp-0.4.2.so.  In version 3.6.1-5 of the RPM the libsnmp package is called libsnmp.so.0.  I was wondering if this means that your RPM is requiring an older package than I have installed or if there was some way you could recompile your RPM so it now requires libsnmp.so.0 or libsnmp-0.4.2.so.  Thanks for your time good morning, good evening, and goodnight.
