If your capture filter didn't work, it's probably not valid according to
those syntax rules; you'd have to show us the ones that didn't work in
order for us to find the errors in them.

The man pages for the programs that come with Ethereal should be in the
directory into which Ethereal was installed, although you might have had
to specify the right option when running the installer in order to get
them.

We don't supply the tcpdump man page.  That might be available as part
of WinDump:
