Please be more specific. Answer these questions:

1. On what OS and version are you using Ethereal?

2. What type of link layer are you using? Ethernet?

3. Are you on a hub or switch?

4. The telnet session that you see, is it between 2 other
	machines, or between your sniffing machine and
	another machine?

5. The HTTP and FTP packets that you're looking for, are
	they between 2 other machines, or between your
	sniffing machine and another machine?
