I was advised off a mailing list to have a look at Ethereal to solve one of our requirements for an on-line recording and analysis for CORBA. I downloaded the Solaris binaries and have now started to use Ethereal. The GIOP filter does a good job in decoding the GIOP requests, but obviously decoding the payload is more difficult. It would be fantastic if I could get Ethereal to decode the GIOP messages and print them in the "tree window" (the payload is available in hex). Is this possible, maybe through a suitable plugin? Is there any work going on in this area? Any information is appreciated.
