I have searched the list archives to no avail, so I am resorting to bandwidth usage!
 
I am using the binary for Win9x/NT on Win98, with a Xircom 56k/ethernet 10/100 cardbus card on a Dell laptop.
 
I can capture incoming packets fine, but none outgoing.
 
I have promiscious mode set, and no filters.
 
I found one post in the archives complaining about the same problem with a different protocol analyzer, and inquiring about the performance of Ethereal in this context.  Since there was no further complaint, I assume that Ethereal worked for the poster -- but not for me!
 
Any ideas on where to look?
