It works fine on my office machine now that it's had W2K put on it.

(The name of the interface is a blob of GUID gunk, but it appears that
interfaces don't have nice simple names on W2K; Network Monitor's list
of interfaces is only slightly better, offering choices such as
"ETHERNET, NDIS NPP, 00A0C9EE08C0", not even bothering to punctuate the
Ethernet address; it also appears to offer a second choice, which looks
as if it's a multicast MAC address of some sort.

Frankly, I'm inclined to, at some point, replace the combo box with a
"Choose interface" button, or something such as that, which pops up a
list of interfaces that shows the name (at least on platforms where
interfaces *have* meaningful names) and at least one IP address - on a
multi-homed machine, the main reason I'd choose a particular interface
is because I want to see traffic on a particular network, and the
interface name doesn't directly tell me which interface is on which
network).)
