There are no implementation and research papers; there's just

	1) the "README.developer" and "README.tvbuff" files in the "doc"
	   directory of the source tree, which are written for people
	   writing protocol dissectors, and give some but not all
	   details about the implementation of Ethereal;

	2) the "ethereal-tut.mgp" file in that directory, which is a
	   MagicPoint presentation by Richard Sharpe, also giving some
	   information on Ethereal;

	3) the "ethereal-dev" and "ethereal-users" mailing lists,
	   archived at

		http://www.ethereal.com/lists/

	4) the source code itself.
