Hello,

  We are using ethereal to monitor the network traffic on our external link.  We use the "Update list of packets in real time" and "Automatic scrolling in live capture" options.  We would like to be able to start up ethereal from the command line with active capture and with these options.  I have been able to figure out how to set it to update the list of packets in real time, but not how to do automatic scrolling.  I've checked every piece of documentation I can think to check and have not seen any mention of being able to set it to automatically scroll.  I find it hard to believe that such a cool feature can not be set without having to manually push some buttons.  Can anyone offer any assistance with this?  Thank you very much!
