Ethereal-users: [Ethereal-users] Interfaces don't show up

When I run Ethereal on my Linux box, I only show interface(s) to capture from if I'm either logged in as root or su'd in.  My "common" account can't see the interfaces.  What do I need to do to make the interfaces available to a "common" login?
