Note that the vast majority of those on ethereal-dev, not to mention
ethereal-users, probably know little, if anything, about the details of
the WinPcap library and capture driver that Ethereal - and WinDump and
Analyzer - use on Windows.

People having problems with captures with Ethereal on Windows might want
to first check the WinPcap FAQ at

(the WinPcap developers are currently subscribed to ethereal-dev and
ethereal-users, but they might read mail to
