I downloaded the winpcap developers kit, there are a few interesting
example programs there.

One of them, netmeter, has a menu entry "Select the Adapter", which causes
a drop-down listbox where you can select the correct adapter. I copied the
name out of there into Ethereal.

Maybe somebody should take a peek at the code and add something to
ethereal.

Just a thought...
