...although it runs on NT4 as well.

(I've heard mixed reports about W2K; it also doesn't currently handle
WAN links or Token Ring on Windows, due to the WinPcap library currently
not letting you capture on them, but Token Ring is probably fixable, and
even WAN links may be fixable assuming there's no Secret Microsoft-Only
Magic necessary.

I guess that's the downside of trying to do libpcap on an OS that
*doesn't* come bundled with a packet-capture interface, although getting
libpcap into shape even on some that *do* is painful, especially if
source to the OS isn't available, although we've had some pain even on
OSes to which source *is* available....)
