I still have problems compiling Ethereal 0.8.8 on SPARC Solaris 2.7. During compilation process following error appears:
.
.
.
.
capture.o file.o summary.o inet_aton.o inet_pton.o inet_ntop.o wiretap/libwiretap.a gtk/libui.a "-dlopen" self "-dlopen" plugins/gryphon/gryphon.la -lpcap -L/usr/local/lib -L/usr/openwin/lib -R/usr/openwin/lib -lgtk -lgdk -lgmodule -lglib -ldl -lXext -lX11 -lsocket -lnsl -lm -lz -R:/usr/lib:/usr/local/lib:/usr/local/qt/lib:/usr/local/BerkeleyDB/lib
libtool: link: only absolute run-paths are allowed
make[2]: *** [ethereal] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/opt/temp/ethereal-0.8.8'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/opt/temp/ethereal-0.8.8'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
#

I use 'gcc' as compiler. All libraries are properly installed. 'Configure' passes fine with no errors at all.

Anybody here has same experience or suggestion?
