Ethereal-users: [ethereal-users] gdk error if menubar is clicked

I've always happily used ethereal, however recently I started ethereal,
and it crashed with the message:
Gdk-ERROR **: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
  serial 1716 error_code 3 request_code 38 minor_code 0
Gdk-ERROR **: BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied)
  serial 1717 error_code 10 request_code 102 minor_code 0

as soon as I click in the menu bar. It's quite possible I've upgraded gtk
since I last used it, the versions I'm currently using is 1.2.6...

Anybody have similar problems, or suggestions?
