Ethereal-users: [ethereal-users] Ethereal 0.8.0 captures nothing !!!

When I try to catch packets nothing is captured. :-(

tcpdump from the patched ethereal version works well. The UI isn't locked. Ethereal just doesn't catch packet !!!!!

Everything seems to work fine (I've tried samples from the web site).

Does someone have a clue ?

My configuration is:

RedHat 6.1
patched libpcap for ethereal
Ethernet card RealTek 8139
