Ethereal-dev: [Ethereal-dev] Ethereal 0.99.0 won't do "export as text" in Windows XP ..

In Ethereal 0.99.0 for Windows XP, when I try to export my packets "as plain text" or "as PostScript file" or any of the other cascading Export menu options, it fails.

It brings up a small dialog box saying the following:
The path to the file "" doesn't exist.

It acts as if I have given it a faulty pathname. It completely fails to export it at all.

I know that I'm using the "Export" dialog box correctly. For example, when I try to export to a filename that already exists, it detects this fact and asks me if I want to overwrite it.  So, it definitely knows where I am trying to export to.  But when I say "Yes" (to allow the overwrite), I get the previously mentioned error message.

This used to work in earlier versions of Ethereal.  It seems like a bug in the dialog box itself.

Can someone help me out?

Thanks

Greg
