Hi Gisle,

Fortunately I remembered we've replaced lib with link /lib some time ago (June 2004). Reason for this is that "lib" is just a wrapper around the "link /lib" command; "lib" is not provided in all Microsoft C compiler distributions.

Just curious, what is the difference (or advantage) of using
"link /lib /out: ..." as opposed to just "lib /out: ...". I see the linker is
used in most Makefile.nmake files.
