Subject: Ethereal and "Limiting Packet to X bytes"

To Whom It May Concern,

I am going to a class at Arizona State University Polytechnic Campus
called
Computer Networking and Internet Protocols in Action. We are using
Ethereal
for hands on experience and we are wondering why when you try to capture
and
you want to limit Packets to X bytes, it won't go below 68 bytes. Why
is that
and can it be changed to go lower? What would happen if you could set
it below
say 50 bytes? We are just trying to figure it out because the book says
we
should try to set it lower but it is not happening. Thank you for your
time.
