Yes, that's what the rfc states.

OK, now I've understood what you want :) I'll look into it - it shouldn't
be too hard.

In case you have a support contract with Cisco, maybe you can open a case
with their tac and ask for the docs. Just pleading for Cisco help on
Mailinglists has a really low chance of success.
