The Plugin ABI is known to be changing from version to version, so 
there's no guarantee that a plugin compiled for 0.10.10 will work in 
0.10.11.

So if you use a plugin compiled for a different Ethereal version, 
Ethereal may work, crash or behave unexpectedly ...

You didn't provided any information about the failure behaviour.

You may try to compile your plugin with 0.10.12 and have a look at the 
warning/errors provided.
