I am trying to get Ethereal to compile on HP-UX 11.iV2 and get a rather odd
error. If you could take a look at it to see if there is a simple solution.
I am using gcc 3.4.3

/lib wiretap/libwiretap.a epan/libethereal.a epan/ftypes/libftypes.a
epan/dfilter/libdfilter.a -lcrypto -L/opt/gnome/lib
/opt/gnome/lib/libgmodule.sl -L/usr/contrib/X11R6/lib -L/opt/xpm/lib
/opt/gnome/lib/libglib.sl -lm -lpcap -Wl,+b -Wl,/opt/gnome/lib
/usr/ccs/bin/ld: Unsatisfied symbols:
crc32_table (first referenced in .libs/tetherealS.o) (code)
/usr/ccs/bin/ld: (Warning) Linker features were used that may not be
supported in future releases. The +vallcompatwarnings option can be used to
display more details, and the ld(1) man page contains additional
information. This warning can be suppressed with the +vnocompatwarnings
option.
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
rm -f .libs/tetherealS.o
