Hi!

I have just downloaded the current ethereal subversion and tried to install
it on Linux.

root@meter:~/ethereal-0.10.9-SVN-13180# . ./configure
checking build system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu
checking host system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu
checking target system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... bash: error: ls -t appears to
fail. Make sure there is not a broken
alias in your environment
bash: error: newly created file is older than distributed files!
Check your system clock

I checked the date as advised:

root@meter:/home/matevzp/work/trace# date
Thu Jan 27 12:31:59 CET 2005

But can't figure out, what to do next. There have been no changes made on
this machine, which successfully runs 0.10.9-SVN-13086. Previously, several
other subversions have been configured and installed without problems.

Regards, Matevz
