In my whole life, I haven't even tried to compile hello_world.c on Windows.

That's neat.
Just two things:
1. Remember that we can have more than one attribute with the same
name in an AVPL.
2. As the rest of MATE, it should be configurable.

Yes, It's been the same old crash,
NO, don't loose your time on that.
I've being living with it for weeks, I haven't fixed it because I'll
change soon the way the config goes into memory in order to obtain
some more flexibility. Like per leg/ses type expirations intead of
being just a single expiration for all types. And to do config
consistency check.
