Not very different.  It involves changing Makefiles (the Makefile.am and 
Makefile.nmake in the plugins directory) and adding a packet-*.c file. 
It just involves changing *different* Makefiles, adding a new directory, 
and adding some more files.

Send it as a patch; svn diff might handle new files by putting them into 
the patch - but it might not, so you might also want to send the new 
files as well as a patch to the existing files.  (Don't forget to update 
*both* Makefiles - Makefile.am and Makefile.nmake.  It's pretty much 
obvious how to modify both of them.)
