Thanks much for posting the pre-release.
Regrettably, both problems which I reported earlier are still there. The loss of scroll position in the frame details window can't really be called major (nor, unfortunately, is it a regression from 0.10.6, though it is from 0.10.4).
However, the preferences dialog is a bit of a problem. In the 0.10.7 candidate (1), when I try to save after only tweaking the UI packet and protocol selection mode items, it now pops up an error dialog saying "The value for "SCCP SSNs" is not a valid range." I don't even know what those are! Presumably some protocol-specific preference.
fwiw, this testing is using the GTK1 interface, because the GTK2 file finder is really horrible (GUI only, no way to type or cut/paste a path). Interestingly, I just tried GTK2 again to verify that file open still
stinks, and it does. :-( However, the frame detail window's scroll position is preserved under GTK2.
The preferences dialog chokes the same way under both GTK1 & GTK2.
