Hi Folks,

Ethereal isn't listing my WLAN interface in the Capture->Start dialog. However, if I enter the interface name by hand (eth1) it will sniff successfully. "tethereal -D" also does not list eth1.

This is on an Apple Powerbook 3400 running Yellow Dog linux 3.0 and using an Orinoco silver 802.11b NIC. The kernel is a custom-build of 2.4.23. The card driver is the orinoco_cs from the PCMCIA package (kernel PCMCIA is disabled) and successfully patched with the monitor mode patch from Schmoo. I am using libpcap 0.8 and otherwise have no trouble sniffing from this interface using libpcap.

Kind regards,

Steve
