Hi, I have checked in your changes in the other mail. I am still trying to battle with X509 and have made some progress. Thanks for the feedback below. The compiler can as i understand it not handle parameterized types so i massaged the asn1 file to not use parameterized types at all. Now it then generates a pretty complete dissector (with dependencies on other modules however) but it will not compile. The compiler has generated a ber_structure containing an undefined variable imp For example, see the structure : static ber_sequence T_signedCertificate_sequence[] = { The compiler also complains about the unknown define BER_UNI_TAG_UTCTime in the generated file. Please assist. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tomas Kukosa" Sent: Friday, June 04, 2004 7:09 PM Subject: Re: [Ethereal-dev] H235 & ASN1 compiler Hi Ronnie, the "The same type names for different ..." warning is recommendation for TYPE_RENAME derective usage. See attached x509af.cnf file. The "#Unhandled ..." message is internal compiler message which means that something is not supported and I have to implement it :-). But it is the better case of unsupported feature. Worse case is that it crashes with Python error :-(. The "#Unhandled GetTTag() in SetOfType" was fixed with my patch which I sent few minutes ago. If you would like to understand a little bit an internal structure of the compiler you can use "-d t" option and redirect standard output. It will contain internal tables of compiler.
