The attached patch (for acinclude.m4) should fix this.



I don't know how the patch fixes this problem, but as it fixes the first
one I've applied it anyway.


Proper quoting makes the difference:

sh# echo $BASH_VERSION
2.05b.0(1)-release
sh# KRB5_CONFIG=""
sh# test -x $KRB5_CONFIG && echo yes
yes
sh# test -x "$KRB5_CONFIG" && echo yes
sh#
