Hello,
 
A quick fire question....how does Ethereal know which protocol is to follow after a certain protocol has been detected...For example, how or which function is used to identify say..after the Ethernet frame, that the next protocol will be, say an IP or IPX etc. Could someone explain it to me with respect to function calls as well...or if not that..then atleast some sort of explanation that can help me replace say, the IP packet with some other packet or something like that..
 
Another thing was, could some on explain a little more about what void photo_reg_handoff_xxx(void) function.
