At least on my FreeBSD 4.6/XFree86 4.2/KDE notebook, GTK+ uses, as the
system font, a font bigger than the one that KDE uses.  as its system
font, which also contributes to the dialog being as large as it is.

Now, some people might *want* a font that large, especially as they get
older (and especially if they're using a 1600x1200 display, such as the
one on the notebook in question)....
