(At least) one open point should be fixed before the next release:

Lastest Win32 GTK1 seems to have a bug for quite a while now, that won't 
show up the child directories in the file selector under some circumstances,
when navigating to the toplevel dir.

The GTK2 version isn't affected by this bug.

That bug was confirmed by someone else on the list before.

As there seems to be no bugfixed version for the GTK1 library, I'm not 
sure what to do about this.

One solution could be, not to use the latest (buggy) release, but one 
before that.
