It also happens on a GTK1 build ... I just saw that yesterday ...

I think the layout of the dialog should be changed, to not put all of the controls into the bottom row. They just shouldn't be there, but inside a new area of controls related to the text, located between the text area and the bottom button row.

This was on my todo list, but I just didn't find the time to do it, and I don't think I will fix this before the next release.
