Tha's the point we're discussing: novice users do not *know* that
Ethereal only provides "display filters" (maybe we should call those
dissect filters), and that *libpcap* (or winpcap) provides "capture
filters". I intend to discuss this in more detail in a new Ethereal
user's guide if I find some time to do so. Even for me in the early
days I never succeeded in capturing with a filter as I thought the
filter language was the same ;^)
