A tooltip is missing, you're right (I will add that).

I was thinking of the intuitiveness of it for quite a while,
and also didn't found a good solution for this (so I took the approach 
from Dick's patches).

You mean, like the print dialog, I have done some time ago?

Well, that's not the same thing, as this is a multi dimensional 
selection. You can select one of the radio buttons
*and* if you want all packets from that range, or the currently 
displayed packets from the selection only.

If we would use ten radio buttons for this(to offer the full 
functionality) this wouldn't be a good solution either.
We might not have to offer all combinations, so less than 10 radios 
could be a better solution?!?

It's not easy to find a good approach on this, which is offering the 
easiness and also the full functionality we have now.
