Hmm, that sounds to me like the first export function, so we should put this into a new submenu item? What about putting this into:
File->Export->Raw Packet Data (Of Selected Area)
Putting this into an export submenu makes it more obvious, that this is a special function compared to the normal "Save" or "Save As" functions.
