I think it's probably linked to the version of the autotools I use (the ones shipped with Mandrake 8.2)
Maybe I should upgrade now and re-test;-))

By the way, one should still upgrade the file about the "DISSECTOR_SRC" section.
 
I'll be glad to do it if someone could tell me how.

Weird... my makefiles do this automagically, whenever I change configure.in or Makefile.am (maybe thanks to the recent autotools I use?).

I noticed the following error in the README.developer in the doc sub-directory :
When adding a new dissector, one should add it in the "DISSECTOR_SRC" section of the Makefile.[am|nmake] instead of the "DISSECTOR_SOURCES" section which does not exist.

Moreover, it would be nice also if one could mention that once those files are modified, one need to run "autogen.sh" or at least "automake -a" for the new dissctor to be taken into account.

Could someone update the README.developer file accordingly ?
