It would mean that
1) the current "force DOCSIS" mechanism couldn't be removed if you're going to capture DOCSIS traffic with Sniffers (but then I wasn't expecting that mechanism to go away in any case); 

	2) you wouldn't be able to save a DOCSIS capture in Sniffer format.
