 These settings don't cause the hang:
"Enable MAC name resolution"           - On
"Enable network name resolution"     - On
"Enable transport name resolution"   - Off
"Enable concurrent DNS name resolution" - Off
Max concurrent requests: 500

What happens if you leave transport name resolution turned off but turn
network name resolution back on?
