I haven't done much testing yet... Should be able to answer this question in a week or so of using Ethereal with the new build. I was able to open a very large trace this morning fairly quickly and sorting of packets by column data seems to be very responsive. I do like the new look and feel that gtk 2.x gives.

Have you noticed any performance increase or decrease when using GTK
2.x?
