Oh, I wish I had the time ... :-)

I had a look further at PacScope, esp their web site. Although the 
English needs a bit of a work over, they have some interesting features, 
and it would be useful to see how Ethereal compares. I don't thing we 
have anything like their ability to trigger a capture start, but then, I 
imagine that most people who use Ethereal seriously use it for its 
analysis capabilities rather than for capturing.
