Hi,

I updated io-stat so that it compiles and works reasonably for Gtk1 as well.

Gtk1 is inferior to Gtk2 since I could not figure out how to specify the
different colors for
the graphs.

Anyone not happy with Gtk1 being inferior to Gtk2 version of io-stat is more
than welcome
to fix this. Search the gtk/io-stat.c code for the two places marked XXX
in relation to where I couldnt figure out how to do color stuff under Gtk1
and am not too interesting in finding out the mysteries of Gtk1.
(I just got reminded of why I hate gui programming.)
Myself are happy using Gtk2 wich is superior in other ways as well.

Superior to both versions is the tethereal version which output can be fed
into perl or proper
bourne shell scripts for really useful processing.

tethereal which has had this feature for eternities (like a week or so)
-z io,stat,1
or
-z "io,stat,5,frame,arp,tcp,ip.addr==1.2.3.4"

ethereal
-z io,stat
or Tools menu and then use the GUI to control what to get stats for.

attached pretty picture can be placed on web page if it is interesting
enough.
