Who is the "you" to which this is addressed?

The original author, Gerald Combs, lives, as far as I know, in Kansas in
the USA; the Network Solutions WHOIS database indicates that
"ethereal.com"s registrant is in Kansas.

If that's the case, the main ethereal.com Web/CVS/etc. server is in
Kansas. There are, however, mirrors in Australia, Austria, Sweden, and
Japan, and there's an FTP mirror in Mexico as well, according to

	http://www.ethereal.com/download.html#sources

I, however, am in California in the USA, so that's two "whereabouts on
the globe" already. People from several states in the USA, one or more
provinces in Canada, one or more states in Australia, New Zealand,
Japan, several countries in Europe, Israel, Brazil, South Africa and
probably other locales - see the AUTHORS file:

	http://www.ethereal.com/introduction.html#authors

paying special attention to the authors whose e-mail addresses end with
a two-letter top-level domain, as those are 2-letter ISO 3166 country
codes that *probably* indicate where they resided at the time they
contributed to Ethereal:

	http://www.iso.org/iso/en/prods-services/iso3166ma/02iso-3166-code-lists/list-en1.html

(the list of European countries from that list includes Austria,
Belgium, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Spain,
Finland, Franc, Croatia, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Portugal,
Romania, Sweden, Slovakia, and the United Kingdom; there are probably
contributors from locales other than the ones I've enumerated in this
message, as their e-mail addresses might be ".com" or ".net" addresses).

Why do you ask?
