Ethereal-dev: [Ethereal-dev] Re: Closing ethereal lists?

Note: This archive is from the project's previous web site, ethereal.com. This list is no longer active.

I've discovered that since July last year ethereal-dev has been gated
into news as mailing.unix.ethereal-dev by freebsd.csie.nctu.edu.tw. If
anyone thought their address was safe from harvesting because it's
masked in the archives on the Ethereal Web site, they should have a look
at Google Groups and think again...

Did NCTU ask permission to do this?

I sent another version of this message to the list without being
subscribed, but it hasn't shown up in the archives. The README invites
people to mail the list with bug reports, etc. Will messages from
people not on the list end up in an administrator's mailbox?
