Jeff,

this means that we have both important MTP users available in
Ethereal, that is great.

I would suggest not to rely on te the MTP3 dissector for the
ITU/ANSI decission, because if we use M3UA/SCTP for the transport
NO MTP3 is involved anymore. This means that a use would have
to set MTP3 preferences even this protocol is not involved in the stack.

As promised long, long ago, here's my SCCP dissector.  It does both ITU
and ANSI formats (it picks up the preference from the MTP3 dissector).
The MTP3 patch is diff'd against CVS.
