Thanks for your advise. However, it will not work because the last
line may not have 16 hex numbers. As I've shown in my previous e-mail,
how can I tell whether '59' is a hex data or a character display?

(new format)
  [0000]: ff 03 c2 23 02 01 00 19  10 35 39 cd b5 84 9d 14    ...#.... .59.....
  [0010]: 35 39                                               59

(old format)
  [0000]: ff 03 c2 23 02 01 00 19  10 35 39 cd b5 84 9d 14
  [0010]: 35 39 59
