Ahhh, the proud parend :-)
TFTP uses UDP, and the protocol does not really handle UDP datagrams larger than 1500-8-... 

So, I don't think it is relevant, at this point.



(As well as HTTP, etc etc)



HTTP should use reassembly, yes.
