Hi,

Ok, let me make a distinction here ....

I am not suggesting that  ALL dissector should be described using
IDL. That is NOT the purpose of this release.

What this release is supporting, is that there are CORBA
traffic already out there that is well described using IDL (in fact
source code is generated from the IDL during development
of CORBA applications).

I believe that we might as well take the same IDL files and generate 
an Ethereal dissector from it, so you can develop your app, and
also see how it looks on the wire, perhaps for CORBA interoperability
testing  or teaching students about CORBA interworking, etc..
