Ethereal-dev: [Ethereal-dev] feature request: using filters to specify packet decoders

I apologise up front if this is not the correct place to send this
message - looking through text files in the source does not make it
clear where these sorts of questions go.

Right now, it does not seem possible to say "hey, if it's to/from
this port on this host, then it's protocol 'blah'" interactively.

An example (because it's the one I've just hit :) would be running
RTSP on a different port. Even if I add an entry to /etc/services,
it seems like it still would require a change to packet-rtsp.c and
a recompile to make it also look at a different port number.

It would be nice if you could specify this sort of thing interactively...
even if it was a text preference file.

thanks,
Anthony
