Hi,
The linux-specific parts (Prismdump) of the IEEE 802.11 patch are now
available for download at our developer site
(http://developer.axis.com/software/tools). Prismdump has been slightly
changed to use the correct encapsulation as specified. All captured
frames are written to stdout. It should be easy to use together with
ethereal 0.8.14.

Regards,
Johan Jorgensen

Tools

GNU Compiler Collection

ETRAX 100 based platforms are supported by the GNU compiler collection gcc-cris, which is based on gcc 2.7.2. Also have a look at the GCC project with respect to an anticipated upgrade of gcc-cris.

GNU Debugger

The GNU debugger gdb-cris supports ETRAX 100 based platforms. It is based on gdb-4.18.

Boot loader

The boot loader is a program for Linux which boots ETRAX 100 over the network with the program you want to run. Read the .axw documentation in the tarfile for some more information.

The prismdump utility

Prismdump is a program intended for use with Prism-II based wireless LAN (WLAN) adapters and ethereal. Prismdump requires the linux-wlan-ng drivers version 0.1.6 in order to work which can be found here.

Information about the logic analyzer can be found in the hardware section.
